OUR VALUES

Clear scope. Respectful communication. Practical follow-up.

Our values guide how we discuss fire protection work with property owners and managers: understand the property, make responsibilities clear and keep the next steps useful.

Respect starts with understanding your property.

Your building, priorities and access requirements shape the service discussion. Tell us about the equipment, the people using the property and any arrangements needed before work begins.

  • Share the building type and installed systems.
  • Explain access arrangements and relevant site requirements.
  • Provide existing reports and describe the requested work.

Know what has been agreed.

Clear scope helps everyone understand the proposed service. Ask which work is included, who will carry it out and what information you can expect afterward.

Qualifications should be relevant to the work being proposed. Discuss the equipment and service requirements before arranging a quote or appointment.

Make responsibilities clear before the appointment.

A service visit is easier to coordinate when each party knows what they need to arrange. Include the property representative, service coordinator and any other contractor whose work affects the visit.

Where the proposed work changes, ask for the revised scope and arrangements to be confirmed. A clear record of what was requested and agreed helps everyone answer questions later.

  • Property representative: provide the site contact, access arrangements and available equipment records.
  • Service discussion: confirm which systems and activities are included, together with the expected documentation.
  • Coordination: identify who will communicate any occupant or access arrangements agreed for the work.
  • Follow-up: identify who will review findings, request clarification and authorize any separately proposed work.

Use the records to plan what comes next.

Keep service reports and system information together so later enquiries have the right context. Ask what records are expected after a visit and how further work will be quoted or arranged.

For a time-sensitive system issue, call 647-998-3473 (FIRE) to discuss current availability. Service timing needs to be confirmed. For a fire or immediate danger, call 911 and follow your building's emergency procedures.

Common questions.

What questions should I ask about a proposed service?

Ask what is included, who will do the work, what access is required and what records will be provided. Discuss how any additional work will be quoted or arranged.

How can I make a follow-up enquiry easier?

Have the property address, equipment details and relevant service report available. Identify the finding or question you want to discuss.
