The right expertise for your review.
Each assignment is scoped to the qualifications required. Where engineering, regulated design or legal advice is needed, we identify that requirement and help coordinate the appropriate professional. Approval and enforcement decisions remain with the responsible authority.
What should I send with my enquiry?
Start with the property address, building use, the issue you want reviewed and any deadline. Include the full notice or order, approved drawings, recent inspection reports, verification records and relevant correspondence if you have them. We will identify any further information needed.
Can you help when different parties want different work?
Yes. We can review the written requirements and available records, identify the basis of each request and prepare focused technical questions. Different requests may relate to different obligations or building facts. The scope will identify any specialist opinion or authority determination required.
Does this replace an annual inspection or verification?
No. A code review has a defined advisory purpose. Inspection and testing, installation verification, engineering design and authority approvals are separate activities. If one is needed, it will be identified in the proposed scope or action plan.
Can you overturn an inspection order?
We help establish the technical issues and evidence and support a clear response. Changes to an order, approvals and appeal decisions are made through the applicable authority or review process. Include the full order and date received so relevant deadlines can be identified.
Can you decide whether the landlord or tenant pays?
We can document the system and technical work affecting the tenant space and base building. Allocation of costs and liability under a lease or contract should be addressed by the parties with their legal advisers.
How is the review priced?
The fee depends on the question, the records available, the need for a site visit and any specialist involvement. We confirm an agreed scope and fee before work starts. Complex issues may begin with a defined investigation phase.
